Dunk Low Sizing Guide

Getting the wrong size is the most expensive mistake in the rep game — return shipping eats your savings. I measured insoles across every major batch using a digital caliper. The short answer is most batches run TTS, but there are exceptions that cost people money every week.

Insole Measurements by Batch

US 9.5 Insole Length Comparison
Measured in cm · Retail reference: 27.8cm
Retail27.8cmM Batch27.5cmHP28.0cmPK27.3cmG Batch28.2cm

M Batch and PK run slightly short. Both measure 2-5mm shorter than retail insoles at US 9.5. For most people with average-width feet, this means TTS is fine. But if you have wide feet or are between sizes, half up is the safer call. HP and G Batch run TTS or slightly generous — HP at 28.0cm actually matches retail closely. See the batch rankings for overall quality alongside these fit notes.

Width matters too. M Batch's toebox is slightly narrower than HP's. If your foot is wider than average (E width or above), M Batch might feel tight even at the right length. PK has the narrowest toebox of the five — their excellent shape accuracy comes at the cost of slightly less interior room. G Batch ironically has the most generous fit, which makes them comfortable beaters despite lower overall quality. For SB Dunks, add another 2-3mm due to the padded tongue and collar eating interior space.

Sizing Decision Tree

  • 1
Average foot, any batch — Go TTS. You'll be fine 90% of the time across all batches.
  • 2
Wide foot + M Batch or PK — Half up. Both run narrow and short. The extra 3-5mm prevents the break-in from being painful.
  • 3
Between sizes + HP or G — Go with your smaller size. Both run slightly generous, so the smaller size will fit snugger without being tight.
  • 4
SB Dunk any batch — Half up from your regular Dunk Low size. The padded tongue and collar reduce interior volume. See the SB guide for details.
  • 5
GORE-TEX variant — Half up. The membrane liner adds bulk that reduces available space. Check the GORE-TEX page.

Verdict

Default: TTS for all batches. Go half up only if you have wide feet (especially on M Batch and PK) or if you're buying an SB variant with padded tongue. When in doubt, ask your agent to measure the insole of your specific pair before shipping — a 30-second measurement saves you weeks of return hassle.

Sizing Guide FAQ

Most batches run TTS. M Batch and PK measure 2-5mm shorter than retail at most sizes — fine for average feet, but wide-footed buyers should half up. HP and G Batch run TTS to slightly generous.
Yes, half up from your regular Dunk Low size. The padded tongue and thicker collar reduce interior volume by roughly 3-5mm equivalent.
Stand on a piece of paper, mark your heel and longest toe, measure the distance in cm. Compare against the insole measurements on this page for your target batch. Add 5-8mm to your foot length for comfortable fit.

About This Guide

Getting the wrong size is the one mistake in rep buying that can't be fixed by QC photos. This page exists because "TTS" means different things for different batches, and a 3mm difference in insole length can mean the difference between comfortable and painful.

Advanced Sizing Considerations

Beyond standard true-to-size guidance several factors affect individual fit decisions for Dunk Low reps. Foot shape matters as the moderate-width last suits neutral-width feet well while narrow feet may find the toe box slightly roomy and wide feet often benefit from half size up to gain width rather than length. Rep Dunk Low sizing generally follows retail closely because the last shape is replicated across batch tiers. However minor last variation exists between sellers and production runs. Buyers purchasing multiple Dunk Low colourways from different sellers should not assume consistent sizing across all pairs. When buying from a new seller treat it as an independent sizing decision rather than applying your established Dunk size directly.

Sizing for Specialty Constructions

SB Dunk Low Pro sizing can differ slightly from standard Dunk Low due to the padded tongue affecting instep volume. Some buyers who find standard Dunks fitting slightly loose through the instep find that SB Pro construction at true size provides a more secure fit without needing to size down. Dunk Low LX sizing follows standard guidance but the stiffer premium materials may feel more constricting during initial break-in. Break-in period for premium leather and suede constructions is typically 3-5 wears before the material relaxes to foot shape. Factor this into your size decision if you are between sizes on LX or premium construction variants.
